SeaHawk Leak Detection Cable
Patent No. 6144209
RLE patented SeaHawk Water Leak Detection Cable (SC) reliably senses any conductive
fluid. The unique design virtually eliminates false alarms, dries quickly, resists bends and
kinks, and lies flat after installation. If you are unsure of how much sensing cable you need, use our Sensing Cable Length Calulator.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
SeaHawk Water Leak Detection Cable (SC) is sold in 10, 25, 50, and 100 foot (3m, 7.5m, 15m,
and 30m) sections. This modular design allows existing cables to be expanded in the field by
simply connecting additional lengths. Mating connectors, as well as the cable's flexibility due
to small bend radii, make installation and replacement of damaged cable quick and effortless. To
clean the cable, simply wipe it with a damp cloth. The cable dries quickly without the use of
heaters or drying devices.
Virtually Eliminates False Alarms
Non-conductive polymers are used in the leak detection cable's construction. This helps
eliminate irritating nuisance alarms that could result from contact with metal, such as spiral
wrap conduit or raised floor pedestals. An abrasion resistant polymer core increases the strength
of the cable. Pressure on the sensing cable will not create a false alarm.
Leak Detection Systems
SC cable is compatible with the SeaHawk Zone (LD300, LD1000, and
LDRA6) and SeaHawk Distance Read (LD2000, LD5100) panels, as well as SD-Z Spot Detectors. The
SeaHawk Selection Guide provides comparison information and may help you select the best system
for your needs.
